Vanity got posterized by j & co. Not much from LARon of late, but I've just recently learned he's secured a prestigious new gig, so I imagine he's been busy. I owe him a congratulatory call, but in case he's lurking and reads this before I get off my butt, congrats Ron!.
FWIW, he looked quite dapper in the photo accompanying the article in the local trade rag announcing his new position. (The photo unfortunately was black-and-white and thus suppressed LARon's great sense of color. I'm thinking it was a photo of him in a sweet pale green I've seen him wear in person, but pretty tough to tell in newsprint.)
Oh, and jovan and Vintage Gent committed SF seppukku. (Pardon, please, my probably wildly inaccurate spelling.)

Seppuku is the correct spelling. It literally means to cut the belly. (切腹)

We didn't say that he is missed, just that he hasn't been posting.

No, just kidding, he's definitely a missed and missing poster

Got lost in aportnoy's shoe closet. Took me longer to find my way out than it did for Randolph Carter to return from the outer edges of the universe, and I didn't even have to switch bodies or consciousnesses with an eldritch life form. Did have a nasty run-in with the Hounds of Tyndalos, though ("argh")...
