I won a radio phone-in where the prize was a weekend in Adelaide and tickets to see Linda ronstadt (second prize was two weekends in Adelaide ...).

Best thing was I didn't even enter. My mate entered me because he'd already entered himself.

I've also one a few free movie tickets, theatre tickets etc.

At a stag party couple of years back, there was a "raffle" and I got THE prize. Didn't "claim" it though, and gave it to my friend.

Well, I loved Disneyland so much I had to enter that contest right away. A few months later I was back at home and had completely forgotten about the contet when I got a letter in the mail that told me I won the 3rd prize in the contest, a Kodak instant camera.

Years later I learned Kodak got sued for patent infringement by Polaroid for the camera I had won and recalled all the cameras. I didn't find out for years after the recal was issued so I never bothered to return the camera. I have it in a box in my attic right now.

Fuji did the same, the instax. I have one of them.

i won a raffle at a casino once a long time ago and had to spin a wheel. i won a pair of water skis, or i could get one hundred dollars. so i chose the one hundred dollars.
i also won several poker jackpot table shares (never the actual jackpot) one was the amount of 450 dollars per person on the table. of course we all proceeded to lose it back anyways.

one time i got my friend hired at the same company i was working at, the referral fee was very small. two hundred dollars. we are just desktop computer guys.

of course there are those small wins like a free coke bottle under a cap and such

You need to beat up your HR. Our firm pays $1500 referral bonus for ANY new referred hire. Even "desktop computer guys" are hard to get these days.

I study numerology, and love it. During college, I was deep into the Illinois lottery's daily game. Each day I'd play two or three numbers, straight. Inside of four years I hit straight numbers, many many times. Each 'hit' for a dollar, returned five hundred. This was decades ago; five hundred bucks was a good little win at the time. I always had plenty of spending money, but never had a job.

I've won the second prize in the lottery, three times. A couple thousand once, seven or eight hundred the other times. I still play the lottery, each and every week. Don't have time these days, to concentrate on numbers, so I've given up the daily game. I do miss it, though. Great fun to 'beat the machine,' and watch the right numbers pop up.
btw: I was tackled outside a gas station after a couple of men saw a cashier counting out five hundred bucks. My lottery payout. Police showed up, too.

Let's see here-

National Geographic geography bee for 1 year in middle school
Capital-Gazette spelling bee 3 years in a row in middle school
Employee of the month in February and March for British Airways
Distinguished service award also for BA
Airport employee of the month this month (woot)
Merit of service for volunteer work at the Baltimore City Fire Department

That's all I can think of.

I "won" $20 from an ATM machine. It spit out an extra bill (it was stuck to the first bill).

The bank was closed so...
