It's the 2.7L engine because it's lighter and gets better gas mileage. Options include full leather, bi-xenons, sport seats, sport steering wheel, rain sensor, autodim mirrors, auto climate, slightly upgraded stereo, and short shifter.

If I'm lucky, I may get it in June or July, otherwise October or November.

Nice choice. We expect a full report when you get it.

Absolutely! What better way to antique the shoes? It's actually pretty easy to heel-toe in the G&Gs after the soles have been scuffed in a bit. New leather soles are kind of slippery even on rubber pedals. The most difficult shoe for me to do this are ankle boots, because heel-toe requires some ankle mobility, which the boots restrict.

Thanks. The test drive was what did me in. Out of the box, the Cayman handles better than my modified BMW 328Ci, which has a fairly well-tuned aftermarket suspension. There's a decreasing radius freeway on-ramp nearby (what genius engineer decided that was a good idea?) that always makes my car feel like it's going to wash out, but driving the Cayman S through it, which has 100 HP and 50 more ft-lbs than the Bimmer, was almost too easy. I couldn't believe how quickly I could get on the gas in that turn, and how composed the car was. --Andre

A bunch of my friends have 'em. They all pretty much like 'em. When I messed with them I didn't really like it but that's just me. I also don't like Verizon's interfaces.

Far from exciting, but we just got new carpeting in our condo. One step closer to being able to live. The new range and microwave are being delivered today too. And we're finally getting cable today. Awesome.

My gawd, I'm quoting myself...but I had to follow up. Sears didn't come on time so they were refused entry by the mgmt company and the cable guys discovered that our place has never been wired for cable. For f--k's sake, this day has been such a waste. It's one thing after another.

How is this on-topic? I bought nothing today.
