Sorry about the order history thing. It's weird - my site is run by Prostores, which is owned by ebay/paypal, but somehow won't log orders paid by paypal. Ahhhhhhhhgggg...

Regarding the jackets, we're sticking with the double vent for all the Fall '11 production. Give it a shot - you're gonna love it! Break out of those single-vent shackles

For shoes with the moccasin constructions, are they repairable/resole-able?

Absolutely, they can be resoled by most local cobblers without a problem. Also, we've got a re-crafting program for them too - so you can return them to us and we'll get them resoled by the original factory. Kind of like what Alden does. It's a more expensive option, but they'll come back looking fantastic.

And in case you guys didn't see it, we put a few deadstock trouser styles from last year on 50% clearance. The sizing is pretty spotty, but you might get lucky there! We've got them in our main sale category:

Is it just me, or do the canvas rivet chinos drape differently from the "regular" ones? I'm trying to decide what my next pair of rivet chinos to pick up should be. I'm getting the feeling that the canvas ones are a bit stiffer, but can't tell whether or not that's due to them being new.

Do you have the navy? I just got the clay canvas chinos and I think they are surprisingly soft and similar to the gunmetal grays, but I think I read that the clay is a different type of canvas than the navy.

I have the clay chinos, not the navy; I actually have the gunmetal grays, too!

I find that the clay canvas chinos are a bit stiff, but I'll give them a wash and a dry later on today, and hope that they soften up!

Well, every different variety of cotton is going to drape and wear a little differently. But, with a little bit of wear, the canvas will look and drape pretty close to the other cottons that we use. Like denim, the canvas is a little stiff and starchy before its first wash, but you can expect it's going to break in with wear.

And, on a totally unrelated note, I was going through the digital image folders on our store computer and I came across this. We're going to carry all four of these fairisle scarves in the fall. And fairisle sweaters. And some other fairisle suprises. The's wool's gorgeous, and they're knit in Ireland.

Really looking forward to the sweaters! Would you know the price brackets for these??

Thanks! I definitely made out well on the sale...picked up these Tartan Rudy trousers as well as some Cotton Poplin French Blues in my size.
