Picked up all of these bad boys recently from Brisbane Moss. Most are for trousers and a few things are for suits. Not sure I'd go so far as to say I have trouser fabric for the rest of my life, but pretty close! As you can see, I like shades of tan/khaki. The quality is superb and the colors are all very vibrant - even more so than they were in the swatches. All of them feel very sturdy yet comfortable. Corduroy - 320 grams - the tan I'll be getting a casual suit made at some point. It's a lush color that is exactly what I've been looking for the past few years. The one on the right is a navy moleskin for my wife who will getting a sportcoat. The color next to that is gray even though it almost looks blue/lilac in the photo.
Panama Weave (similar to canvas in feel and look) - 310 grams - the blue I plan on making into a casual blazersuit. The others trousers.
Panama Weave that is slightly heavier than above at 320 grams - all for trousers
Brushed Twill - 400 grams - all for trousers
Cotton Cavalry Twill - 315 grams - all for trousers. The russet color was tough to capture, but is very nice.
Linen - 240 grams - all for trousers, but I'm tempted to buy more for suits! This stuff is awesome. Very soft and lightweight and spongy. The natural color one in particular is stunning in real life.

Can anyone recommend a good light gray cloth for trousers that will stand up to relatively hard wear? I am looking for something in a 2-3 season weight (New England weather). In fact recommendations on a medium gray for similar use would also be much appreciated.
I have never really selected any fabric for myself (other than looking at the books that tailors had on hand), so I am not very familiar with what resources are available.

I think ed has the PoW which I recall him calling the Camilla Parker Bowles of fabric. Kinda yawn inducing, but in a good way. The solid gray-brown is really nice.
