Firstly, let's face it, many people here are dreadful at casual looks. I include myself in that category, most of the time. The plum-coloured linen shirt in one of the pics acecow used is a prime example of that! That alone may drain enthusiasm for checking the thread regularly. Also, it may be kind of tricky figuring out what's casual enough to merit posting here. Obviously, anything with jeans, brightly coloured trousers or shirts, is a definite. But what about jacket and button-down collar shirt without a tie? I'd consider that casual, personally, though more along the lines of smart-casual or what Scotty refers to above as business casual, than truly casual. Anyway, I'll cross-post my WAYWRN fit from today into here, just to add some discussion material. Is it casual? I'd say so. I wore it to do some work, but under an hour of that, and I'm going to wear it out to dinner with a friend tonight, so I'd call it casual. But I suspect many would consider it too formal to include in this thread.

Good point. I'm pretty sure this can work, although it probably won't be as interesting as full-on classical men's wear. Casual is harder and not as visually exciting, because there are less elements present. But that doesn't meant there's no place for it here. Also, most of us tend to spend less money on simpler clothes. My wardrobe would benefit from better, more expensive casual pieces. Holdfast, your fit today fits both the WAYWRNs, so thanks for posting in here as well. You look smashing almost every time. I'll post a couple of fits as well, although not as exciting as yours. It's been rather hot the last two days. Normally, I wouldn't post the first one, as it's quite a failure in my mind. The tapered pants don't work with the shoes and the belt, and the whole ensemble looks silly. However, for the sake of lifting this thread off the ground, flame on:

Vox, you had a shot up awhile ago of a gunclub jacket with dark denim. Executed perfectly, as always. Schooled the SW&D crowd. Poast it!

I'm pretty sure a MC casual style thread would bore the SW&D folk to sleep, if not to death. It either has to thrive here or not at all.

SW&D has other obsessions than what this thread should be obsessing about.

There are enough CEO's, Rock Stars LDS' proponents here to easily stage a takeover.

Calling you out, B. No way you're dressed liked NYR. No time, no place, no how. Not while Zdeno Chara's out there, waiting to school you Lord Stanley style.
