Most of those look like ****. I will stick to Alden for my shoes. No need to pay even more inflated prices for a designer shoe. I think the Jimmy Choo's should be left for the women.

Why do women pay so much for these shoes? Are they constructed better, more comfortable, etc....?

Sex and the City.

As for men... Those shoes are entirely too expensive to be of such transient style. Not that I'm rushing out to pay $1100 for a pair of shoes when I can get good ones for $200-$300 (AE sales, etc), but I'm sure as hell not paying four figures for shoes that I wouldn't be caught dead in 18 months from now.

My wife has a few pairs of Jimmy Choos, and she says that they are the most comfortable heeled shoes that she's ever worn before. I compared them to some of her other shoes, and the construction does seem to be pretty good for a women's shoe.

Nonsense, JC doesn't even know their audience, they tell you nothing about the shoes. Can't even justify the price, I can get Ferragamos for $300 on sale better than these. I suppose it can be worse, Hermes may come out with a flip flop line at $1,000 a pair...
