I've heard a few people here mention that AAAC is a steaming dog turd. Is this true, and why? I have visited the site myself, and while it is extremely poorly designed and hard to navigate, it's not too bad, is it? Thoughts.

I originally joined both but liked the vibe of SF better. Haven't gone back to AAAC in years.

Fnb thinks we're **** and AAAC is awful...

We think FNB is a mental ward and AAAC is full of boring prats and so on...

Human nature...

Mine is bigger than yours mentality...

The Trad one looks awful..

What is FnB? I have also heard a forum referred to as LL. What is this (I kinda hate it when people use acronyms all the time!)?

Hate? That is pretty harsh. Nothing wrong with AAAC, just looks to be geared to the slightly older crowd in relation to SF.

It's a good site. Much tamer than SF. And Andy seems like a really good guy.

Film Noir Buff... His forum is fucked. There's a thread critiquing our waywrn there. Some sad sad individuals...

The font on AAAC is tiny while the ads are huge (thank god they got rid of the Appreciation ads). Also, how many threads do they need to discuss Allen Edmonds and Jos A Bank?

The most interesting thing about FNB is that they have thread about bespoke dreams gone right - and no one can agree, which puts the bespoke dreams gone wrong thread into doubt as well.

I joined both forums many years ago.
AAAC was a great place to discuss clothing.
Sadly

personalities ruined it. both the Mods and the members were responsible.
now it is a shell of what it once was.
the vender recommendations on AAAC are a joke. which is why i no longer read or post there.
