I'd go for an ST Dupont. They're really nice, and well made. Better than Montblanc quality.

I use the MB14 fountain pen, which you can get off forums and such and a 'black pearl' aluminum and steel Dunhill ballpoint. The Dunhill gets lent to people who would destroy your fountain nib. Its steel body also means you can break a window or something with it if need be or use it as a kubaton but is less ridiculous looking than a Surefire or Uzi pen.

For design geeks, it has the added cache of being designed by Albrecht Graf Goertz, of BMW 507 fame.

Stolen google image since I'm too lazy to take a pic:

Not as baller as your vintage MB but I love my vintage Parker "51" with a similar design minus the design royalty pedigree.

Pilot ftw, indeed. Not just baller ($10 K) but AAF:

As others have said, though, if you want a great pen, buy a Pelikan.

Vanishing Point is my daily user. Not as baller as Mont Blanc or Dunhill, but writes great.

Hilton, Mariott, W, Four Seasons, Hyatt--all make great pens. If you lose one, tomorow another appears by magic on your desk.

Hermes Man - Have you tried asking Bijan for pens?

His style is exactly what you are looking for.

Signing can be a little safer, depending on where you're using your card, of course.

51 Looks great! I'm a big fan and I've been looking for a "flighter" version for a while. Also love the parker 50 Falcon.
