The pair I got (for $20 more) was first quality and unused as far as I can tell. Well, at least they ran out of my size.

I gave up on Gilt ages ago. Not only has their selection and quality been inversely related to their popularity, they keep promising that they will ship to Canada. Maybe next year? Either way, I'm over it, it's only one small step above Prive.

When does Caliroots start their second markdown? I know they already have 30% right now. I hate to ask about this, but they are the only retailer that carry what I want and an extra discount might help absorb the customs fees. So, they definitely do not mark down when shipping right?

Correct. I got a pair of Common Projects shipped to me for $315 vs. $309+shipping at Barney's but then I got charged $35 by UPS.
