I think this sums it up fairly well:

Hats are removed when inside, except for places that are akin to public streets, like lobbies, corridors, and crowded elevators (non-residential). In a public building (where there are no apartments) the elevator is considered a public area.

It's an (verry) dark gray suit. Because of the sun behind me it looks black on that picture. But even on a black suit i would never wear black shoes. I hate it.

Encouraged by some good comments, I am being bold to post another WAYWRN.
It's Saturday, so I wore jeans with a jacket. I did try a pocket square but still it looks weird to me.

While posting, I found I had worn almost the same style last weekend.
