So, most of the jeans I own are in a very dark wash (close to indigo). These look good with gray blazers, but I think they look too dark/similar to navy to wear together.

What wash do you like with navy blazers?

Here are some from LEC:

I'm thinking the 1 year wash might work, but it could still be on the dark side. Maybe even the pewter? The other colors look either too light or too "blue" to mean if that makes any sense.

Looking at this photo, the 1 year wash looks like the closest fit: (though I'd say his blazer is more of a dark blue and not quite a true navy)

Depends on how dark the navy is. I've got a lighter navy shade blazer, and it looks good with my light grey, light brown or white jeans. And nice tan boots ... or cream canvas shoes (bluchers, not sneakers).

navy blazers are for harvard undergrads and old-money kennedy types.

black or gray, with raw/dark wash or black is all you need.

nah, i've always hated the look of "i grew up in the suburbs, never knowing a care in the world, and as soon as i'm out of school, my dad's gonna pull some strings and get me a fast-tracked position at a fortune 500 company, and give me the spare key to his yacht for weekends"
