Jesus christ. I just ordered a pair of ******* vibrams 5 fingers because I don't want to wear out my nice shoes on my 7 mile walk home. What the **** is wrong with me.
^ seems like the perfect case for vibrams IMO
it means that the sole is channeled (the stitching is underneath a thin layer of leather on the sole). It's harder to do, and it's better than visible stitching because the stitches are somewhat protected.
Rumor mill say Hedi may be taking over at Cardin. Interesting, given it's a brand I do not at all pay attention to (men's side of things, at least)
Not a fashion thought but has anyone here ever worked for the Fund for the Public Interest? I did for a day and I feel disgusting and used. I've never been so angry with an organization before, especially a nonprofit. Anyone who has worked for them will know what I'm talking about. It was the Manhattan office, btw.
cool stuff, i liked these two pieces:
I severely doubt they are channeled for that price
there has to be a less ridiculous looking pair of shoes for a long walk home. new balances or something?
Hah **** I'm interviewing there in Chicago tomorrow. What's your complaint dogg, if you don't mind issuing a warning?
no they don't, come on
around $400usd retail? maybe, but it's not unheard of. The peal and co by AS have channeled soles and they retail around $500. Probably cheaper being made in portugal. FWIW i have a pair of saks in house brand which were made in portugal that are pretty nice, slightly above AE quality (no channeled sole though).
