Thanks for clearing that up - I need a new monitor; looks a bit gray on my screen.

There was no final fitting/try on, as Frank was out (pretty scary fire accident in his house, thankfully everyone was ok, except for some pretty wicked burns on his arm). I'll bring this to get the right sleeve touched up, otherwise I'm very pleased.

Looks nice NYR. Any chance we can see the quarter lining?

Also are the buttons brown? I'm always wary of them on a suit for fear it would look like a sportcoat with similarly colored pants, but this looks good.

NYR,

This really looks great! Does your tailor have access to the fabrics of the English mills commonly discussed on SF?

Thank you! Yes. He has access to everything, the lesser stuff I have is from him, he has Harrisons, Hardy, Fox, W Bill, all the good stuff, nd also has lots of Italian...he doesn't charge an arm and a leg for it either.

And here are some mighty **** pictures of two new commissions (the unpictured third is a suit made of Minnis fresco - 0520). I'll try to bring in a proper camera on the next go.

I think I saw your length of 520 about 1-2 months ago. Gorgeous fabric. Too bad I have something else similar.

Here are some shots from a few months back that a photog friend of mine did in Sunset Park. All the attire (except the ties and shoes) are Ercoles. those of you who made Ed's trunk show in March met the photog, Dzemo. (www.photodh.com)

Love it Rob.

I was in town 2 weeks back for a wedding, and brought in all my tailoring I needed done for the last few months to Frank.

Once I was there I ordered another suit, can't wait to fly in for my next fitting!
