Is there a market for old Diesel stuff? Never owned a pair, but I find like 5 pairs everytime I go thrifting...

Yeah, the day's come that HF crashed and I have to listen to people make themselves feel better on SF because their jean elitism is cooler than HF's. Brett: Their hosting company ***********.

This interforum stuff between the different denim-centric fora is always amusing to me. Some Sufu guys like to dump on SF, and both of the sf fora tend to dump on honestforum (which I've personally visited about once). And on sufu, some people have been dumping on SZ. And there has been dumpage on The Fashion spot sporadically, and so on. Anyway, welcome, refugees. Styleforum has an open door policy to the stranded. Make an Honestforum refugee camp here if you wish.

Fok.

LA Guy: It's dumb as hell. Elitism because you post on SF and not HF is ******* ridiculous.

P.S. HF is back.

If people want to post about TR and R&R that's their right. I'd rather those people be on HF than here. I fully reserve the right to ridicule such people, though.

It isn't fair to label someone as elitist because they simply prefer the style aesthetics generally worn here at SF over the aesthetic of HF. Thats why I choose to post here, and not there. Also... our denim is superior

No, it's immature and elitist to say lol honesttrash.com like a junior high counterstrike player.

I don't really like your denim, to be honest. :p

(DISCLAIMER: TR on guys makes them look like date rapists.)

There are guys on that forum that have DOZENS of pairs of Diesels - they collect them like baseball cards! (which makes no sense since their $5,000 collection will be worth nothing in 5 years when Diesel goes the way of JNCO)

I don't understand why anyone needs 10 pairs of Zathans but there is a demand for the more rare washes. who knows, those $20 pairs you see thrifting might be worth $100 to one of these guys.

I happen to have a "very rare" pair of black Diesels that I never wear. I can get some $$$ to help the "Brett wants a Thick as Thieves suit fund"!

I don't mind Diesels because they have some nice cuts and washes. I just don't understand the hype around brands like True Religion and SFAM.

The market over there is pretty weird ... I think Diesel's are awesome (and have had my eye out for one pair for months now), but it's not easy to sell over there since there's a lot of saturation.

And though I think more than a couple pairs of jeans of one brand is overkill, I doubt Diesel is going to die off. Last season or two seasons ago, they re-vamped their look to it the new trend, something they always do. Very classic brand.
