I'm with you on your likes. Although it's hard to believe Jason is a legit cop.

I only saw part of the episode last night, but general commentary:

I really hope they pare down the number of plotlines, but it doesn't look like they will. It was getting ridiculous towards the end of S4. There's no reason Tara, Lafayette, Jason, the ******* Sheriff, the meth crew, every damn vampire, etc, etc should all have independent plotlines. Either write more interconnected stories, or gloss over some of those people.

This is how Heroes got stupid. True Blood is also venturing into some of the Lost / Alias JJ Abrams mistakes where the original concept was not meant to carry as many seasons as it did.

way too much going on, but still interesting/captivating enough to keep me hooked. they better keep all this multi-plotline craziness on a short leash.

Yes, finally a role Tara (tony lol) can play that I enjoy! I think we made it through an entire episode without the lip quivering?! or did i miss it?

Bill being king is from the last episode of last seaso, where hes fights the queen. I hope they didnt off Evan Rachel Wood... mmmmmmmmm

Yeah, where was the Sam orgy that I thought was going down?

I really did not enjoy the season opener.
Unless I see some mention that episode two was good I'm going to pass on this season of TB.
