VANCOUVER!

Can't believe no one's mentioned it yet. It's beautiful, the people are fit, friendly and smart, great food, mountains and beach within within minutes. Just came back from the city and could not believe how quickly the people voluntarily cleaned up after the riot.

I am very happy where I am. if I were going to chose a place, anyplace in the world, to live for the rest of my life, it is right where I am. I am planning on retiring in Cartegena, in Colombia. if I were going to live in a few places for 1-2 years, Singapore, Prague, Paris, London, Tel Aviv, Beunos Ares. that last list not so much because they are the best places in the world, but because they are good places to take kids to, and that I'd like my kids to see.

I've lived in some cool places in the world, but it is very differnt when you are young and single.

London or New York. There's always stuff happening, plus places don't close at 10 like in Boston

Just a quick scan, but surprised that I'll be the first one to mention San Francisco. Lots going on, nice weather (at least in the greater bay area) and more manageable than nyc.
