This show is going to be responsible for yet another crop of idiots going to law school in hopes of becoming a superstar litigator only to end up doing doc review in a windowless basement for $14 an hour while saddled with 180K of non-dischargeable student loan debt.

I'm still waiting for a realistic legal show that details how a new associate spends 14 hours every day poring over endless documents while being sporadically yelled at by a partner.

I'd watch one where the new Cordozo grad has to take a job doing doc review in Paul, Weiss's windowless basement at the end which he is told that there will be no more projects because they've decided to outsource their doc review to India.

Worse. It seems to trivialize lawyers even more by suggesting it's that easy to get into law. (Which it can be).

Wait... you mean Boston Legal isn't based on reality at all?!

The thing about Boston Legal that always seemed odd to me was the lawyers seemed desperate enough for work so as to be willing to work for anyone at all doing any type of thing imaginable, yet still bill large hourly rates for so doing. Everything else, of course, is 100% reflective of reality.

Not having extreme high hopes for this show, but based on what is previewed for this Summer/Fall, it looks grim for other shows. So, based on the crap that is being released, this doesn't look too awful in comparison.

I watched the pilot. Other than the premise of the show, it wasn't that bad.

I found the pilot to be quite enjoyable. I'll certainly keep watching.

Just remember folks, it's entertainment, not reality. If it were a real show about lawyers, I'm sure we'd all be bored out of our socks.
