Finally got off my rear end and ordered 3 ties from David last week: 1 chocolate brown Garza Fina Grenadine, 1 burnt orange Reppe, and 1 forest green Linen.

Cannot believe the incredible value equation presented; $80 Aussie for a well-made bespoke tie is crazily reasonable!

Looking forward to receipt with bated breath...

My first Sam Hober tie arrived late last week. Like the rest of you guys, I'm officially addicted.

Here's the 6 fold, lined (light interlining), with hand rolled edges:

Garza grossa, midnight blue with white stripe.
Self-tipped, no label, 4-fold construction, lined.

Not as SF-approved as NOBD's untipped garza fina (man that's an awesome tie) but gorgeous. Drape and knot are superb.

About to make my first order.

Was definitely going no label, but would it be crazy to go no keeper? I never use the keeper.

by not using the keeper. I decided it just wasn't for me. I use the keeper. For whatever reason, when I didn't use the keeper the front and rear blades kept separating. It felt like I was wearing a rope tie. This is the case with all my ties, nothing specific to the above Hober. That said, if you don't use the keeper then I don't see why you'd need one.
