I missed that he was the Night Watch leader's son.

There's really no need to develop his character much past this point. He'll be gone by the middle of S2.

That doesn't happen until the middle of book 3. Would seem a bit early to stuff it into S2 no?

Major spoiler so don't click unless you've read the books.

Given this is TV, how slow the Danny plotline is in the second book, and how the Unsullied will really appeal to viewer's interest, I expect them to speed up the Danny plot line to get the Unsullied in the picture. However, I hope they do not forget to put the lesbian scene in.

You'll notice I a) stated clearly it was a book spoiler and b) I did not raise the books first, someone else dropped a spoiler relating to the book right into the thread without tags so please go bother him.

If you miss the fact my response to the book spoiler in open chat said it was a spoiler...well, that's all this is wrong with the world.

Actually I think it's the lack of common courtesy and the need for people to self-righteously defend their own boorish behaviour.

Your first spoiler wasn't tagged "book spoiler," but please keep all book spoilers out of the thread anyway. I don't want to know who lives and dies until it happens.

+100 Well ****, man. I'm just about going to give up and abandon this threak the way I had to bail on the True Blood threak. People are dumb a-holes, and it seems book spoilers are here to stay. Real shame folks can't keep their nerd-boners in their pants for the sake of everyone else. But this is the internet, where reason and common courtesy go to die. ******* ridiculous, but oh well.

Probably for the best. You're a more enjoyable poster in most other threads.

Fair enough and sorry I forgot to label the first one as such. Again, at least I put my spoilers in spoiler vs. dropping it into open chat...and that guy is catching no ****. /shrug.

Your opinion of the messenger doesn't make the message any less true, though.
