Help me please!! I'm want a Jacket/Parka, and have reduced it to two options. The Nigel Cabourn's Air Craft Jacket or the YMC Mountain Parka. I'm going to use it for casual wear. What do you guys think?

Should I get this jacket? I doubt I would get much use out of it. Where am I going to wear this thing long enough to enjoy it? As soon as I'm indoors, it's going on a coat rack. I don't need another impulse purchase; but O.M.G., it looks so good on the model.

I kind of want a pair of Phosphor Balenciagas. $320. Discuss.

My experience with YMC is that quality is appalling across the board.

I've only got a couple of YMC jackets, and whilst the quality's not quite up there with Nigel Cabourn, I've not got any real problems with them.

The big issue is the Aircraft jacket is very much a spring/summer jacket, the Mountain Parka is more autumn. What are you after?

I'm sure the quality is quite nice, but the cut seems really boxy and short if the measurements are correct

Ha! - that's the appeal for me!
I'm 5'6" and most shirts are too freaking long for me.

If you plan to look as fab as the runway model go ahead. Though I don't condone purchasing things you won't get much use out of.
