My wife just got laid off today after 12 years with the same company. She happens to be very, very good at her job and her accounts love and respect her. She feels terrible and the only reason I can imagine the owner of the company would let her go is because of money. She is the highest paid person at her position. We work in the same industry and knowing what she handles and what the people who work for me handle, she's worth every penny and then some. The worst part is after all my job trouble over the past couple of years we were finally in a position where we were starting to make up ground again. Now, who knows.Originally Posted by topcatny
