The Orchard St selvage chinos arrived today, and they are of course fantastic. As expected, they are about 1.5" too big in the waist.

Excellent! A Great score.. You're going to love wearing these. Get them taken in at the waist and you'll have these forever.

Of course. I figured that a 33W would never pop up for sale, so I went with a 34W and planned on having them taken in in the waist and seat.

The twill is rather thick, which I like. I'm thinking about undoing the hem and rolling them. We'll see how long they are once the waist is fitting properly.

Can anyone tell me how exactly RRL hoodies run? I'm from the EU so i have to rely on ebay, but every supplier there seems to have different measurements, sometimes even for the exact same hoodie. Only thing that I have for comparison would be a Hollister hoodie (yes, im ashamed), where i wear an M that fits me very well.
Thanks in advance

my 2 cents on the matter... i have a couple of RRL hoodies and sweatshirts, and the sizing varies. i have a few mediums as well as larges, and i wear a size small in their button ups. as a safe bet, i'd say to get a size larger than what you would wear in a RRL button up. but you should also get the opinions of the more experienced guys in this thread too.

I'd stick to your usual size in the hoodie but if you're that concerned then you could also message the seller and ask to confirm their measurements.

But size up on button ups? I don't know about that. Current RRL has always fit me TTS which depending on the shirt can run slim to comfortable, while it's the older stuff where you'd really have to size DOWN one or more.

The only items I ever go a size larger in is their t-shirts.

yea its weird that i have RRL in S, M, and L. i should also point out that when it comes to crewnecks and hoodies, i dont like them to be as fitted as my button ups. they're not overly baggy on me, just a bit looser.

Just find a similar pair on ebay. Washed RRL tends to run TTS and the Straight fit is close to a standard 501 fit.

Sorry for another sizing question. I know you guys said sizing varies based on the items but how about for individual pieces? I've seen the same shirt (selvedge oxford) in the same size (medium) with pit to pit measurements ranging from 19" to 21". I don't really trust some sellers measuring.
