I don't know, being the anti sugar carb nazi seems a weird bit to have for a puppet.

Not really, he was a typical nouveau-riche imbecile. My favourite part was his use of fleur de sel ($10 a pot, what a steal!) to salt meat for roasting.

A 3,000 post sock is a rare thing.

hmmm. i only interacted with him in the food forum. didn't think he was a bad guy at all. over-earnest, perhaps, and liable to get fixed on certain subjects ... but compared to some of the asshattery i've seen on this forum ... (granting in advance that he may be involved in such behavior in forums i don't care to frequent).

Man, that is a LOT of posts for a sock. The only feasible version I see involves an inactive poaster, but there's only a few who come to mind who are that intelligent and fewer who are so gleefully subversive.

I was almost totally roped/trolled in with that Sugar thread... I decided to back off and see if he'd self implode and watched it eventually happen in spectacular fashion. I guess he's a real person, because of his other legitimate contributions to other threads. Did anyone get PM's from him? I did and it was creepy as hell.

It was an interesting experiment to see him not be able to hold to his theories concerning understanding and compassion...you stinky arseholes.

Part of me wants to believe he was real as I remember being 19 and thinking I knew it all. Heady times.

Yes, I got one. He mentioned it when he got mad at me that I never replied. It was very similar to other PMs I've gotten from eventually outed socks trying to get me to disclose things or believe we were somehow allies.

he was 19? wtf? I thought he was some lowlife 30 or 40 something loser with personality problems. That's more understandable but if youre 19, go out and get laid. Throw a party. ****.

He was polite in his pms to me. A time out and an embarrassing title would have been a good alternative to banning too.

I'm taking the approach of what I would do if I wanted to troll this place without much mental effort. He continually either adopt an extreme position for a topic, and would defend it using nauseatingly circular arguments. The only effort it takes is the commitment to keep at it, which given his posting frequency, easily allows him to hit 3k posts. If one of your trollings starts to stagnant, you could always bring in another account with the opposite extreme position, and keep the conversation going with the hope of luring more people in.

Are you saying he is Piob's secondary troll account?
