Post rock concerts are boring. You need a good venue. Explosions was interesting when I saw them a few years ago since they were much more "into it" than other post rock bands. Godspeed was mediocre here since they played at a loud bar/venue where everyone stood around, but my friend was telling me about a show they played in New York at a church where everyone sat down and how it was basically a religious experience.

Punk/hardcore shows are the most fun. So much movement and energy and a lot of crowd interaction that I feel a lot of other genres lack.

Hollywood Forever Cemetary had an Explosions in the Sky "show" recently where a few songs off of the last EP was played with a video installation inspired by the song, it was pretty neat. I'm sad I missed Bon Iver's sunrise show there.

I was at the latest GYBE show in Montreal and god was the sound awful and loud. Dunno how people without earplugs have survived this. Too sad

Are the dip dye geller sweats 3/4 length at nomad? Says that on the site, but the pic doesn't look like the 3/4 sleeve version.

^Ya you are right, it looks like they have the wrong pic up on the site. They actually have both versions at Nomad. As you can see I got the full length one.

Nice. I would have bought tickets to them as well, but the show I'm going to next month is a free outdoor concert
