They are, but bespoke, not MTO.

The more I see of these G&Gs, and after reading testimonials from the likes of aportnoy et al, the more I like them!

These dang G&G photos are making me reconsider my decision to buy a turntable and pass on the visit with Tony.

Just a gentle reminder to fellow SF members.

I met with Tony on Saturday. He was knowledgeable and gracious, and did not pressure me at all to buy. Nevertheless, I could not resist and placed an order for the Windsor (monkstrap with v-cap), vintage pine (closest color to EG Edwardian, according to Tony), on the classic square last.

Interestingly, Tony traced my foot, took several measurements, and concluded that I am a size UK8.5E. I usually take a size UK9D in EG. I told Tony that I have a pair of EGs in size UK8.5E (the RLPL Carter -- the 89 last is effectively an E width), and while it fits me, it seems a bit short. He is going to compare the tracing with the last, but is inclined to make the order in size UK9D. Just goes to show that shoe fitting is more art than science.
