Eh...
It is almost a default option for every tailor that I used in Napoli.

Maybe. The only pants that don't have such buttons are from NSM, that are probably one of the most tourist oriented

I read this as meaning that NSM is the only tailor in Naples that treated you as anything other than a tourist. There couldn't be a more pointless adornment on a pair of pants, unless you really need something to let the sand out of your cuffs.

I find the adornment thrilling to the little black lump of coal that is my heart. Iris Tailor in Singapore assures me that they can accomplish this pointless detail, and my heart fills with unnatural joy at the prospect of collecting my pants with this detail from them.

Though they may lack the magical hand work of the Ambrosi pants, they will have the most important element -- the button!

I would have to completely agree and want that small detail on the next pair of pants I have made. Getting sand in my cuffs was one of the reasons I stopped getting my pants cuffed years back!

Cut rate thugs are difficult to find for that kind of cash especially with euro exchange rate...

They might deduct you the VTA even if I doubt it..
