Certainly, but more so in recent years.... Whereas contemporaries (Wegner, Mogensen, Mathsson, Aalto, et all) have seen staggering highs for important pieces, for decades now.

No ****. Like 12k, right? About 12 years ago I saw one on e-bay from some idiot in Queens who had no idea what he was sitting on. I passed at the time and have regretted it since.

In Denmark he as always received the credit he deserves and there isn't that many mid century Danish furniture designs who is slept on any more, one of the only ones I can think of is Hans Olsen who among other things made the Dinette for Ferm RÃ¸jle.

Yes, it's a vintage green croc strap from the watchmaker Zenith. I just put in on for something different/fun. Usually I prefer a less "flashy" strap for this watch.

I don't think I'll ever understand midcentury design-star furnishings. Even if I had the money for a $12k chair, I'd rather have two Ikea Poangs (which are extremely comfortable and quite good looking IMO) and $11.8k in hookers and blow.
