I'm needing help with picking pants or jeans to go along with this broadcloth ralph lauren shirt(the horse is actually pink on my shirt).....Im that thin line dresser between urban and preppy......more towards preppy....I'm thinking about wearing white moc shoes but not sure on the style & color of the pants or jeans I should wear?

(Pictures would also help)

Thanks again for all your help

Those are some great ideas.....especially the blue jeans/brown boat shoes....Now let me ask you....For a classy beach party...Do you think white linen pants are a little too much since there is white within the shirt or go with khakis or possibly khaki linen pants? Thanks for your help....Ill make sure to keep my eyes out on your post

White linen with green will look lovely. Wear brown shoes for contrast in the bottom.

sounds good. I'm picturing brown thong sandals, white linen pants, and the shirt you posted unbuttoned, perfect for a beach. Throw in a straw hat if you're feeling adventurous.

I went for lunch yesterday wearing white linen pants, a pink shirt with rolled-up sleeves and dark brown leather flip-flops. Looked great to me, got some compliments, too.

Tan chinos and boat shoes? or A brown loafer? The shoe should definitely be brown, and a dark blue pair of jeans would be great with brown boat shoes or a shoe like the Allen Edmond Strand (maybe in tan?).
