I have some shadow fail here, but here is the color of my new Ravello Wingtip boots. to my eye I see a lot of caramel/mid brown, not a lot of red like some other pics I have seen (like epaulet version of this boot)Originally Posted by makewayhomer

Hey guys, I have a semi-related query for you. I'm on the market for a pair of suede chukkas with leather souls, much akin to the Alden unlined suede chukkas. However, I can't really swing $422 at the moment. Anything comparable to those Aldens? I was thinking Elia Maurizi, which comes up pretty frequently on Gilt. Eh?

I was in a similar situation about eight months ago and decided to save up for the Aldens. I'm glad I did... they're awesome. Maybe keep an eye on B/S?
