Was that guy kidding you? So they never make checked coat?
We've already seen some quite good examples from member aj_del.

SB is supposed to be one of the best tailors in india, I am quite sure pattern matching would be OK. Most probably there was some communication gap regarding this aspect.

I got 2 jackets made by Vaish and according to Mr. Despos the pattern matching was acceptable. Sure, it could have been better, but nothing to complain about.

SB is supposed to be as competent as Vaish, so I wouldn't worry about the pattern matching.

Inam more worried about getting 3 suits made in one go

Hey everyone, gotta let the second guy know in a few hours about the chesterfield collars - could someone please share their opinion on whether such a coat may have non-black or non-brown velvet collars? Thanks in advance!

With outside materials:

15,000 INR, which is about $330 for a 2-piece suit. $55 or 2000 INR for a shirt.

With their fabric:

Upwards of 28K INR - up to 100K or more ($600 - $2000+) depending on the fabric - the upper end is probably cashmere. They have really good fabrics, though - while their cheapest domestic stock sucks, the $800 - $1,500 range would get you VBC, Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Dormeuil, Zegna, etc.

Not sure what shirts cost with their fabric.
