Great looking vintage military airplane.

For modern military jets, I have always liked the look of the Russian "Su" models, specifically the Su-35.

I see these humongous 747-??'s being test flown around all the time. They are not painted and are green colored and scary looking. I work about three blocks away from Boeing Field. They don't really look like they are moving, they appear to hang in the sky floating on the breeze. Its a little disconcerting.

Tokyoslim,
That's the 747LCF (large cargo freighter) you are seeing. It is bringing parts for the new 787 jetliner being built at Boeing Field. They fly back and forth between Taipei and Boeing Field on a regular basis.

Lockheed Constellation!

The Connie was the last great prop driven airliner. The design was hailed in it's day and is now regarded as a classic.

Here's a photo of the one I've seen.

Imagine seeing this pass over your head a couple times a day, at what looks to be about 5 miles per hour from my vantage point. (I'm sure its going faster, it just doesn't look like it) Can't be more than 150 feet up in the air when it floats over my building.

Thant's disturbing. And so ungainly it's hilarious. Reminds me of the Super Guppy.
