+1 agreed. For those who don't like homages (we're not talking replicas here), then stay out of this thread. You're not needed here.

Homages are replicas, doesn't matter what you call them to make yourself feel better.

This thread is for people that can tell the difference between the two, iroh. As you can't, you may as well leave.

I know what you're getting at, but no. Your marsupialed posts are more preferable than your threads, less eyesore.

Can anyone tell me if this is a Seiko or what make this watch is? It's so clean and simple, Thanks!

I think that's a modded Seiko 5.

Hey guys, I've discovered some nice looking watches thanks to this thread but I was hoping some of you could give to poor newbies like me some websites where we could make interesting deals. Ok, everybody knows ebay, amazon, but I was more thinking of places like:
http://www.pmwf.com/Phorum/list.php?50
I'm sure there are other trusted websites like this one.
By the way, what is the website offering the most exhaustive list of automatic watches? I'm wondering if I haven't missed a model.

That's beautiful. I love Seiko 5s

I think I posted this in another thread a while back, but:

It's sub-150 so I might pick it up.

A while back I was in this boat - wanted a nice watch but still have a psychological hurdle to clear in terms of how much to spend on a daily wear item and the lack of demand in my life for getting properly dressed up. Settled on this from Zappos, which despite obvious flaws I still quite like nearly a year on. About $225.

I disavow all knowledge of this man.

Really.
