Hey everybody! I haven't posted in this thread in years, but have been following it almost daily. Taking notes from my favourite posters, refining my wardrobe, and nailing down the details. I think the journey is at a point where I'm pretty happy with how my style has come along, and thanks in no small part to the discussions, feedback and photos posted in this thread. In particular: gnatty8, newyorkranger, Orgetorix, Phat Guido, NOBD, luftvier, Parker, niidawg, olddog/oldtrix, MBreinen, yfyf, and TTO. Your personal fits have all given me inspiration and helped me to nail down exactly what sorts of looks I like for my own style. There have been many more posters whose fits I have enjoyed, and whose discourse has been most helpful, and to all of you I say: Thank you!

Now the biggest trouble is finding the time and motivation to actually take photos to post here! Sometimes you get a little help along the way, like at the art gallery opening I went to this weekend:

Shirt: blue, teal and red tattersall, Omega MTM
Bowtie: teal, navy and white tartan, Randy Hanauer

Also not pictured, bright red socks and my friend's gorgeous dress hiding underneath her coat.

Thanks for the mention rob...love the suit, in fact one of my first custom suits (a failed attempt by Bermini (I'm sure some of you guys have heard of that disaster) was very similar...very cool. Looks like your lady needs a shave though

@ Robasaurus all your sterling work in looking good will be completely wasted if you don't get rid of those hideous glasses. The are doing you no favours at all. Send them back to the seventies with no return address immediately.

Anyways it is great shot banis!

Thanks! The car is indeed Fiat 500. Turned out to be a nice car for European cities.
@artoftime Did you travel with me?

The shoes are from Bexley, in Paris - model name Paul, I believe (Bexley has a website - www.bexley.com, IIRC). They were not expensive, and they were the first pair of wholecuts I found that were not "blobby" looking, so I bought them, and happy that I did.

Thunder storms, heavy at times, all week coming up - makes for interesting "How do I get dressed today for that meeting" quandry?
