Shorts: What will be your "1 step above the masses" pair this summer?

Billy Reid makes good shorts. I have two pairs. One is a chambray and the other a khaki linen. They're short and they feel very nice. I bought them on sale a month or two ago but would definitely recommend them even at full price. I'll be rocking these most of summer:

I have a pair of pants from j-crew in pale grey oxford cloth, and so far they are my favorite pair of s/s pants. that may change tomorrow though when i receive my white and light blue pairs of brooks brothers cotton/linen milano pants.

Have a bunch of Masons and Engineered Garments shorts I picked up super cheap last fall from a local outlet store. They'll be getting a lot of wear this summer. I've been on the look out for some cheap Vineyard Vines shorts as well, but no luck yet.

I went to an outlet around labor day and got them discounted to the 30's I think. I don't know if there's any earlier sale.
