I have a 60" x 53" sheet of Minnis Crown Classic (2332 navy hopsack) left over from a commission that I might put on B&S for a trade - but is this enough fabric for somebody to make something with? (sorry for the noob question).

fwiw, here is the fabric in a pic:

So I was excited to get some university stripe oxfords in unconventional colors, and I end up with...this.

Must be why the lady told me like four times on the phone that there were no returns on cuts. How'd they screw that up?

The stripes aren't the same width! That didn't jump out to you guys immediately? There's four threads in the colored stripe and five in the white.

Sometimes spacing stripes too wide can completely wreck a garment. Fortunately these aren't that bad, and my investment is inconsequential. I just wanted a traditional university stripe; I've bought the same shirting before from the same maker [in other colors] and the stripes were spaced normally. Hell, I bought some in blue and it was normal too. I guess I'm a bit of a traditionalist.

I realize you guys have a disdain for "nitpicking," but I haven't quite caught onto how to distinguish it from your refined taste and attention to detail. But I'm trying, so don't give up on me!
