Been thinking about red sneaks for a while, get the painted or hold out for the regular leather/suede version?

Cost is $215, to go with regular denim, "regular" color chinos/khakis and maybe shorts...

Opinions? Alternatives? Budget is under $300 (+/- $50).

You'll probably get alot of people saying 'no' as everyone here seems to nut hug the white painted version only but I say go for it if you like them. I prefer them unlaced. I've got my eye out for black or blue painted in a 41 atm.

These look like they have less paint on them? I like it better this way.
The red is pretty extreme though, but they look wearable enough for jeans. Red sneakers are fun anyway.

It's black. I figured the black is more versatile but I am looking at it as more of a spring shirt so I thought the blue ones works better for that season.

I was looking at the Fjallraven Kanken backpack, does it look too juvenile though? I already look young for my age and I'd rather not get something that accentuates that.

http://cdn1.gilt.com/images/share/up..._1287442697000 this is on gilt and it seems to be very sturdy. i dont know anything about the company, but this would be my very first luggage purchase. im graduating from college this may and while i dont travel much, i think a nice suitcase is a necessary investment. thoughts? they have an identical one in glossy black, but it looks too flashy and tacky IMO. edit: the picture doesn't seem to load; have to manually click on it :/
