I smell like Kiehl's #1 musk, cigarettes, whisky or champagne, sometimes beef, and puppy dog.

there are probably dog hairs in there, at least a few.

ps I threw in a surplus Bundeswehr duffle lock for that piece. Closes the top if you don't feel like the rope.

If you google "Getat watches" and look on their website under Products -> 44mm -> 44mm hand-winding you should be able to find this exact model. It also comes in polished steel (to tacky imo). I now also found a nice rubber strap that works well for me (normally not a big fan of rubber straps but I think its great during the summer. This one is made from real/natural caoutchouc and feels great on the skin, not as good as the ToJ liner though). Sorry for the offtopic (I suppose Drew wont start to make watches any times sonn :p).

Going to leave watchmaking to the Germans, and stick with leather jackets.

Pardon my ignorance, but is that suppose to be a replica of a Panerai?

It is indeed. And I think it is worth noting that Panerai has a trademark on the term "Marina Militare" in some countries. Even though I have now clue why you can reserve this term (Marina Militare is the name of the Italian Navy). So if someone should infact hold a copyright of this tem imo it should be the Italian Navy but I am getting carried away here...just buy a Sinn
