I'm going to get a white dinner jacket and need to get trousers to go with it,

1. What type of trousers should I wear with it? Black tuxedo pants? OR plain black trousers?

2. Should the be Pleated or flat trousers?

Thanks.

Most certainly not plain black trousers. The trousers of a normal evening dress - plain or pleats at your option.

Tuxedo pants -- You can go either pleated or plain front, either with ofcourse no cuffs, though I think pleated is more traditional.

Trouser cuffs.

I have to ask since no one else is, but where are you wearing this white dinner jacket?
