Regarding your fit: loved the way you combined the sc and tie, but the shirt seemed out of place, colourwise...

This looks really heavy. I myself have a heavy houndstooth tweed jacket that looks similar in thickness, but I wouldn't wear mine in this season. I'm not sure what the temperature over there was today.

Still not sold on the pants. I think it's an improvement, but I don't think pleated pants flatter me at all.

Top and bottom are the same colour. Lighting was off.

Suit looks pretty good to me. Tie is a little wacky though.

Funny you say that, because I remember wanting these desperately when I bought them. However, I've had them now for ~5 years and have worn them less than 25 times. I've been reaching for them a lot very recently though. I tend to do that with shoes for some reason: wear them heavily in spurts and then virtually ignore them for long periods of time. Truth be told, I rarely wear black shoes besides loafers, which probably puts me in the minority on SF, where black lace-ups abound and black loafers are harder to come by. As of late I've subbed the monks in for loafers with jeans and have made a concerted effort to work them in with suit and pant/sportcoat outfits.
