I saw the St Crepins yesterday at Neimans in SF. Beautiful looking shoe IRL. Made from a single piece of leather. Very nice!

+1. I can happily say that I will never own these beauties. Gorgeous shoes Phat Guido, wear them in good health!

I've had it bad for the St. Crepins since I first say them. I showed the pics to the girl and she didn't like the buckles or what she called the "unfinished" edge of the flap and straps, the two details I like the most.

I used to say that regarding Alden shells but after a few purchases it doesn't faze me now. That said, I'm not going to go out tomorrow and instakop some St. Crepins but I'm not ruling it out forever either!

They look like dark brown misty calf to me but I have had a very hard time seeing the picture difference between the dark brown and the black version of this shoe.

+1. I'd never been a big fan of double monks until I tried on the JL William. I fell in love with them right away, and now own a pair.
