There's really not to much to add except that I live in Virginia, and I sweat a bit to much to be wearing v-neck sweaters, jackets, or dress shirts all the time...so what the hell do I wear?
Pictures would be appreciated.

If you need to wear suits, sc and slacks etc. linen and linen blends, lightweight wools, silks and silk blends, and your cotton and cotton blends. If you want a light sweater, again cotton and cotton silk blends, or go with a sweater vest. Really depends on your dress code at work. Or u can also do just do an odd vest and slacks with a tie. On really hot days, just gotta tough it out until you reach an Air conditioned spot

I'm still in school actually which makes this even more difficult.

You're in school? I proscribe a steady diet of mature shorts (above the knee, classic fabric, pleats add shape and room if you want it, I like 'em), worn with colorful, striped polos/ short sleeve sport shirts (NOT those plain white quasi dress shirt things!) and canvas sneakers/mature leather sandals. If you need to dress more formally, chinos or linen pants. Loafers. Sockless if you want. Dressing well does not necessarily mean dressing formally. Certainly it lends to dressing more formally then cargo shorts/baggy tee shirt, but you can still dress great without dressing up. Start with these: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/23608?feat=908-GN1 or these: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/23607?feat=908-GN1 Add: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/68849...t=68849-ppxsrx And: http://shop.timberland.com/product/i...uctId=11373500 Or: http://www.zappos.com/converse-chuck...-ox-charcoal~1 No socks with either. You'll also want something like this: http://compare.ebay.com/like/3305399...=263602_309572 If you have the figure, you'll want to tuck stuff in. While people shun it these days, it really does clean up a look. And you show off the belt you have that spices up the outfit. Also, stuff like ringer tees, a linen ivy cap, so on and so forth might be worthy investments.
