I have one of the Kin cardigans from last f/w, fits slim, really slim in the arms, but they stretched out. If you're on the bigger size of a S, a M might be fine.

Thanks, seem very slim fitting but material also reflects some stretch from what i can tell from the photos & awkward model poses.

The KIN knits fit quite slim. I'm a perfect L in his shirts (size 50, I'd guess), which are also slim, but can barely get the L knits on.

I have about 7 KIN shirts, they use awesome fabrics and the fit is quite good.

Nope, that's how it fits. I wouldn't say it's cropped, but the tail isn't super round so you can wear tucked or untucked.
