In honor of the royal wedding -- or should that be Royal Wedding? -- I thought I'd post this picture of the bride's parents who are, gasp, middle class. Though maybe not for long. It hasn't happened for a few hundred years I suppose, but traditionally, the parents of a queen are in line for a title, assuming they haven't already got one. But if Michael Middleton wants to hang with Prince Michael, he's going to have to step up his game.

This picture was taken the day the royal engagement was announced so it is not like he was taken by surprise. They live in Berkshire, so country is appropriate. I'm not suggesting he should have turned out in plus-fours and tweed but he should have made some effort. It looks like he borrowed this jacket from one of his new security guards. Just his sleeves are probably four inches too long. I'm sure this guy will get photographed a lot in future and it will be interesting to track his sartorial transformation, if any. And I have no idea why this thumbnail is attached or how to get rid of it.

She and her parents would hardly be the first middle class family to marry into the Royal Family.

I can't even take a dump in their old house. I guess, I'm worthless.

No one has commented on the soon-to-be Royal mother-in-law?
Methinks Mr. Middleton outkicked his coverage.

Wait, I remember reading somewhere that Kate went to some ******* expensive privates schools throughout her education. How can her parents simply be "middle-class" and afford to pay. Unless i'm missing something here.
