The onset of summer weather has started in NYC - it's warm and humid today, with threat of rain.

Today's photos reflect a last minute change of accessory - switched out the handsome but ill-considered silk pocket square for a white cotton one - sometimes, simpler is better.

The color is better in the seated photo than in the standing.

FWIW, and have at it, fellow iGents.

@ Threadbearer - I see you finally got your green grenadine. Did you go for Kent Wang or Hober? Great look today if a bit autumnal!

Simple enough. He's acridsheep, so he's been putting a sheep stamp on things he likes rather than say that he likes them.

Good - more interesting
Bad - takes up a lot of space where a simple sentence would accomplish the same thing.

No ****, but why is he acridsheep? Does he really like wool, or does he, um, love sheep?

From wikipedia: Sheep (Ovis aries) are quadrupedal, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. Like all ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even-toed ungulates. Although the name "sheep" applies to many species in the genus Ovis, in everyday usage it almost always refers to Ovis aries. Numbering a little over one billion, domestic sheep are also the most numerous species of sheep. Acridsheep are a particular species of sheep with a penchant for sarcasm, violence and Adobe products. Do not taunt Acridsheep.

First time I've ever seen brown seersucker. I like it for the FU points.

The shirt and tie (and suit) are all Brooks Bros. of various vintages - the shirt was MTM many years ago, the tie and suit are much more recent purchases. Shoes today are C & J via Barney's.
