Passed on excellent condition Rag & Bone sneakers. Size 9, I think. $35 was too rich for me on those.

Closest thing I have come is my wife found a pair of TF sunglasses at TJ Maxx for $20 on clearence. We were at the one in my hometown so you can find crazy stuff there because no one knows what it is.

From the pictures, yes. But FWIW, the Sanford was briefly offered in burgundy shell around 1992. They're rare, but they do exist.

Update:

So, you know how I asked you gents about my current situation with a guy on SF that sold me a pair of shoes that have a small gash on them, right? Well, he responds by saying, "I didnt know . . . but you didnt ask for me to check anyways." Now this clearly pissed me off. Why? It's your f*n job as a seller to check your item thorougly regardless if I asked or not. Btw, I wrote before I sent payment "Ah, okay. Is it okay to send the $ to you?

Once again, no cracks or holes or anything alarming?

Once you confirm, I'll send the $"

Therefore, I did ask. This pos, shady ______ is making me more mad.

Am I overreacting? B/c he's saying I should drop it and just try to sell it back on SF.

^I think you lost some standing because you waited so long. If someone came back to me weeks later claiming an issue I would have a hard time refunding the money. From the seller's standpoint you could have an accident with them, and now you want to make an innocent seller eat it. I'm not accusing you of that, I'm just saying that would be my reaction. Now, it's very likely the seller knows he stuck you with problem shoes, but I don't really see any recourse for you.

I would relist on SF with pics, fully disclosing the issue. Then I would leave honest feedback on the seller in the B&S feedback thread.

And check all future purchases immediately for issues.

Especially when the first complaint was "oh there too big."
