No, they don't match because they aren't the same colour.
That doesn't mean you can't pair them together though. Worn casually I think it's probably fine.

I think that way, too. You know, the problem is the tan belt looks horrible imo. That's why I don't want to buy a tan belt. On the other hand, I assume the tan shoes is a thing in its own right. So, it doesn't really matter what color of your waist belt or watch belt is. And yes, I mean a casual look, no suits implied.

navy and brown are complimentary colours remember you don't always have to stick to the 'rules', so by all means wear a belt that's a different colour to your shoes/bag, but if you do make sure it's a colour/tone that fits the mix aesthetically, navy and brown goes really well imo. I tried the tan shoes with the light blue shirt. Well, I must admit these colors do match pretty nice. Nonetheless, I'm too conservative these days to wear shoes which have the color that doesn't fit the color of the belt. I assume you, being a styleforum regular, know navy and tan go together well. The problem is most people I see everyday believe a belt and shoes should be of the same color.
