I'd say the most important thing is to stop using so much product. It looks really heavily gelled, which gives it those sharp, thorny spikes and brittle look. Even just keeping it as-is but losing the gel and having it a little messier could be a step up from what you've got going on right now. A bunch of people here use wax (in very small quantities), but I don't know what brand(s) are worth trying.

I can't really tell what you've got going on with the facial hair, but I'd say go full-on beard or go clean-shaven. The mustache-goatee combo you appear to be moving toward gives off a cologne-doused sales rep vibe, and I'd say that's a mug you don't wanna chug.

Also, the passants on your shirt (the things everyone mistakenly called epaulets, which are actually the dangly things you hang off of passants) are no good. It was a short-lived design fad on casual shirts and jackets, it was way overdone, and it looks pretty silly and over-designed at this point.

I know jack **** about sunglasses, so maybe someone else can speak to that.
