Is the marketing caption? "Get some mole in your sole" or in Streetwear: "Get som mo' in yo' so'"

This forum has fought the PA "blobby" battle many times. Consensus: not quite as a sleek as the EG Chelsea, etc. but far from an abomination.

I think that AE's main problem is that they use absolutely terrible photos on their website.

In all seriousness, their stock photos make their shoes look "flat" across the top of the shoe and terribly rounded around the toe. Whilst they are not a terribly elegant shoe, they look a lot better in real life than in photos.

I agree - I don't see why they can't use a shoe tree (with the disclaimer that they do not come with the shoes) to get them to have a more elegant shape up in the vamp area.

The AE CEO dropped AAAC a line very recently to let them know, among other things, that they've heard the criticism and are redoing their photos. He said to expect better pics this fall.

It's good to know that AE listens and responds to customer feedback.
