Quick question. Anyone know if G&G shoes are sold anywhere in Toronto Canada?

Speaking of thinner socks, anyone have any recs? I have always used Pantharella as my thin socks, as I have found Marcoliani to be entirely too thick, but I would be open to more ideas.

I thought G&G standard width was E and not D. This probably the explanation for the tightness. And yes, they are UK size labeled.
GG D = narrow GG E = normal GG F = wide GG G = toilet seat

what an outporing! It is a joy to see G&G's shoes, don't know if these are bespoke or Decco style. But it doesnt't matter becasue first impression is bespoke. The craftmanship is absolutely stunning.

WOW. That's craftsmanship. Wounder how many different skins they had to go through before they found one acceptable.

Got to admit that the Deco last is much nicer than their stock photos have shown, a lot more balanced than i thought!

Those G&G photos above just leave me gobsmacked! Amazing!!

Probably, they would have needed two skins (one for each shoe).

For the skins to have their markings very similar to each other, they would have
to come from the same litter: so, left and right shoes are actually siblings.

Farms, tanneries and wholesalers will take great care to keep the matching skins in batches together.

So I went by the G&G trunk show at Despos in Dallas today. Got to meet Mr. Despos and chat with Mr. Girling which was very nice - as were both Mr.Despos and Mr. Girling. Learned a lot about G&G and their process. Very cool to get to meet and do business with both of them. That's probably not what you guys want to know, is it though? You want to see what's beneath the cut (Because other wise the page would never load). Well...
